btw, i received the delicious chocolate you sent me! i can't remember if i sent you a thank you postcard or not (i am putting together a little something for you but it has to wait until payday) - i love the music cds too! i think i got distracted with the death of michael jackson happening so close after i received your goodies. (seriously, i got caught up in all the coverage)

oh, by the way, i was thinking about when we were exchanging LJ messages back & forth awhile ago. i wanted to explain what happened. i accidentally deleted one from you when i was deleting ones from some other people (i wasn't doing too well with a certain situation and when i had the internet, it became more difficult to cope with it all) and i felt awful when i lost your messages and then i felt stupid and then i was terribly behind and that totally ruined our flow! i wanted you to know i didn't intend for us to lose that and i was rather enjoying our dialogue that way. i thougth i should explain myself. that had been weighing heavily on my mind since then. (i worry about too many things, eh?)

anyway, yes, I received your package and loved. i'd like to say that i made the chocolate last weeks & weeks but wow - that stuff was so good that i found myself savouring it within a short period of time.

i've been doing ok. just floating along i guess... nothing too exciting going on. there was a guy that was supposed to buy one of my cars but he didnt which was a bummer because i was going to book a flight to toronto for two weeks around my birthday next month. :(

yesterday my dad brought over a record player for me (i used to have a stereo but gave it up when i moved to toronto - silly me!) anyway, i listened to cheesy old vinyl yesterday afternoon into the evening and loved it! i have a feeling that if ever had disposable income again, a good part of it would go to buying new lps!

(not quite back in the online world. just using a library computer at the moment. i miss reading my LJ friends entries but other than that, i've been better off not having the internet at my fingertips).
